Entry Level Community Support Worker

Duties

​

•Domestic duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping 

​

​•Social activities e.g. taking clients out to socialise, attending appointments etc

​

•Personal care: assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, grooming

•Medication administration 

​

Hours

​

Permanent, Part-time/Full-time

​

Working Pattern

​

We offer flexible working with hours between 7am-10pm Monday -Sunday

​

You must be available to commit to working alternate weekends. This will be in line with the needs of both client and provider.

​

Salary

 

£12.21 per hour ( mileage expenses and travel time paid)

 

Enhanced pay will be offered for weekend shifts.

Time and half for Bank holidays. Double time for Christmas and New year.

Skills/ requirements

​

  • Foundation qualification in both English and Maths​

​

  • Some caring experience  preferred ​

​

  • A passion to carry and hold our values of providing high standards of care enabling our clients to live as independently as they can and have the quality of life they deserve and need​

​

  • Must be age 21+​

​

  • Good communication skills

​

  • Energetic, patient, caring and willing to learn

​

  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle​

​

​

​Essential training will be provided at induction and during your first months of employment. Ongoing support available to help you develop in your role.

  • 2 Years minimum caring experience or experience in supporting vulnerable adults ​

​

  • Experience in dementia care preferred

​

  • A real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our clients to live as independently as they can and have the quality of life they deserve and need

​

  • Must be aged 21+

​

  • Good communication skills​​

​

  • Energetic, resourceful, patient, caring and willing to learn

​

  • Skill of keeping  calm in stressful situations​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

​

  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle​

​

  • Business car insurance

  • Self-motivated

Senior Support Worker

A dynamic role that is both community and office based to meet the needs of the business

 

Duties​

 

  • Competent in the role of Support Worker 

​

  • Skilled at multi-tasking 

​

  • Be able to work closely with your line manager and keep open and clear dialogue at all times

​

  • ​Lead the team with enthusiasm and sensitivity

​

  • Assist with staff training

​​​

  • Responsible for the creation and delivery of care plans

​

  • Communicate regularly and competently with families and health professionals regarding loved ones 

​

  • Ad hoc on-call duties

​​

  • Multi-disciplinary team working and relationship building

​

  • Overseeing staff compliance and competencies 

​​

 

​Hours

 

Permanent, Part-time/Full-time

You must be available to commit to working alternate weekends as you will be required to be on call every other weekend. 

 

Salary

 

£15.50 per hour ( mileage expenses and travel time paid)

Skills/ requirements

 

  • 3+ years caring experience or experience in supporting vulnerable adults â€‹

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

​

  • Experience in a senior role​

​

  • Excellent  communication skills and telephone manor​

​

  • Computer literate​

​

  • Proactive, energetic, resourceful, patient, caring and willing to learn​

​

  • Be able to work directly and openly with your line manager

​

  • A real passion for driving change and providing a high standard of support that enables our clients to live as independently as they can and have the quality of life they deserve and need​

​

  • Capable of building strong working relationships with peers and families​

​

  • Self motivated â€‹

  • Have the skill set to manage stressful situations
