Our promise to you

Comforting Hands

1

A whole person approach

We are committed to delivering a care service with patience, allowing us the time to learn about you and for you to get to know us. Considering both internal and external factors provides insight into any barriers to receiving care. This helps us to strengthen trust and achieve the best outcome.

2

Continuity and reliability

A service that is consistent and continuous can make all the difference when receiving care, especially with clients that suffer with cognitive dysfunction like Alzheimer's or brain injury.

It ensures you know what to expect and when.

We will build a micro team around you or your loved one that will be familiar and reliable.

3

Social and emotional support

We never underestimate the power of listening and being heard. Our highly empathetic caregivers will provide ongoing support to you and your family. They will strive to keep you as comfortable as possible in the safety of your own home or out in the community.

Your Questions Answered

What is home care and how does it work?

Home care can mean different things to different people, but the underlying aim is to ease the pressure off full-time carers or assist individuals struggling with daily living. Having help at hand can make all the difference to the quality of yours or a loved one's life and open up opportunities for new experiences. Home care can often cover a range of tasks; here are some of things we can assist with:

- Companionship
- Personal care
- Housework
- Attending appointments
- Socialising
- Shopping
- Looking after pets

This list is not exhaustive but provides an idea of the help we can offer to assist you in leading a joyful and fulfilling life.

How works:

1. Arrange a telephone call:

We will have an informal chat to discuss what you're looking for and your struggles.

2. Book a home visit:

We can discuss a time that suits you best to visit your home. There we can gather more details about you and your requirements. Together, we will create a plan that works for you.

3. Meet your carer or micro-team:

Once we have selected the right carer(s) for you, we like arrange a meet-and-greet so you can assess them and ensure you are comfortable with our choices. It provides an excellent opportunity to have any questions answered.

4. Getting familiar with your chosen carer or team:

Creating trust and strong relationships is something we are fully committed to. It takes a little time and patience to learn a routine and your preferred way of completing tasks. Once we have these details ironed out, it creates a pathway for harmonious and strong bonds.

How are we different from other companies?

We are a small, local, independent company run by Jemma Louise, who not only understands how to deliver care but has the personal experience of providing excellent care for over 20 years. Our decision to maintain our small structure is based on the belief that quality care can not be achieved on a large scale by a corporate company. Points to consider when choosing a home health care provider

Choosing a home health care provider can be daunting, especially if this is new to you. Think carefully about what you want, need, and require. Take your time to research the provider you're interested in. Talk to them and ask lots of questions to get a feel for their ethos and what drives the service. Can they accommodate your wants and wishes? Above all, if you have any doubts, listen to them. Don't feel pressured to take up a service if it doesn't feel right. Your happiness and well-being are what’s most important.
